ITV's 60 Minute Makeover - Bradford, Yorkshire

This 60 Minute Makeover is from Bradford. It is for Craig, who wants to surprise his wife Debbie as a way for thanking her for all that she has done for their family. The couple have 3 children - the youngest child Joshua has Downs Syndrome and has recently had major surgery. Both dedicate their time and effort to looking after the children, particularly Joshua who needs extra care and attention. This leaves little time or money for decorating even though Debbie is always looking at the latest interior design book. Craig and the 60 Minute Makeover team are going to transform her house!

The designer is Souki Hildreth- was keen to "thin out" the furniture and mixture of themes in each room- creating a true identity for each room. Souki was keen to inject colour and specialized style to each room in order to create a home to match the couple's ideas.

Overcrowded with furniture and trinkets- it is easy to get lost in this room. Here, Souki has kept Debbie's sofas as Debbie likes these- but has lost a bulky armchair and based a theme around the Peak District. The key colour is gold- Tektura's wallcovering Gilded Era allows the light to bounce around the room and make the most of most of natural lighting. The darkwood lounge furniture reinforces the traditional style in this Peak District themed room. Heather accessories offset this look.

Tektura's wallcovering GILDED ERA Kyoto Gold was used in the LOUNGE. Gilded Era is available in various colours, and is a high-performance fabric-backed vinyl, with a smooth metallic finish. Gilded Era is 137cm wide, and is available by the linear metre.
